Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Studio Hair (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept any part of these terms, do not use the Service.

Studio Hair generates AI-rendered hairstyle previews from a selfie you upload. Outputs are synthetic visualizations created for personal entertainment and pre-salon consultation purposes only. They are not photographs of you with those hairstyles, are not professional styling advice, and are not guaranteed to be accurate, achievable, or suitable for any particular purpose.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Studio Hair. By using the Service you confirm you meet this requirement and have legal capacity to enter into these terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately at contact@studiohair.app if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses resulting from credentials you have failed to protect.

You agree NOT to:

• Upload selfies of any person other than yourself, or of any person who has not given explicit consent for AI processing
• Upload images of minors under any circumstances
• Use the Service to create deceptive, fraudulent, defamatory, or harassing content
• Attempt to identify, profile, or extract biometric information about other people
• Use the outputs to impersonate, defame, or harm any person
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or replicate the AI models or service
• Resell or sublicense the Service or its outputs commercially without our written permission
• Use the Service to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, App Check, payment verification, or other technical protections

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice for violation of these terms, retaining the right to retain financial records as required by law.

Paid features require purchase of a Style Report tier (Starter, Full, or Premium) via Stripe. Prices include applicable EU VAT. A Report purchase entitles you to the number of AI-generated hairstyles listed on the tier you selected, rendered once per purchase from the selfie you upload. Reports are non-transferable and have no cash value.

Refund scope. We offer automatic refund if your Style Report fails to generate or delivers fewer hairstyles than your tier promised, due to a technical fault on our side. Refunds do not cover subjective dissatisfaction with the output — our AI hairstylist picks styles that suit your face, but no styling tool can guarantee you will love every pick.

EU 14-day right of withdrawal. Consumers resident in the EU have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal from purchase under the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 9. To exercise it, email contact@studiohair.app within 14 days of purchase with your account email and order reference. Where generation has already started at your request, we may deduct reasonable costs for the service already provided, as permitted under Article 14(3) of the Directive.

Outside the 14-day withdrawal window, refunds for non-technical reasons are processed at our sole discretion.

You retain all rights to the selfie you upload. You grant Studio Hair a limited, revocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to process your selfie solely for the purpose of generating your Style Report and providing the Service.

Generated hairstyle previews are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may share them, print them, and bring them to your stylist. You may NOT use them in commercial advertising, sell them, or pass them off as photographs of yourself with those actual hairstyles.

Studio Hair, its branding, the AI models, software, and infrastructure are our exclusive property. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.

Generated images are produced by machine-learning models which may produce unexpected, incorrect, biased, or undesirable outputs. We make no representation that any output is realistic, accurate, achievable in a real salon, suitable for your face, flattering, or free of artifacts.

You acknowledge that AI image generation is an emerging technology and accept the inherent variability in quality. We do not guarantee any specific output and do not refund based on subjective dissatisfaction outside the 14-day window.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION.

We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available. We do not warrant that AI outputs will meet your expectations or be free from artifacts.

Mandatory consumer-protection rights under EU and Polish law remain unaffected by this disclaimer.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE — IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE — IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) €50.

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, REPUTATIONAL HARM, OR THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Mandatory consumer-protection rights under EU and Polish law remain unaffected. This limitation does not apply to our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Studio Hair and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your violation of these terms, (b) your violation of any law or third-party right, (c) misuse of the Service or generated content, or (d) selfies you upload that you did not have authority to upload.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without notice. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for breach of these terms or if continued operation would expose us to legal risk.

You may close your account at any time via contact@studiohair.app. Closing your account triggers GDPR-compliant deletion of your personal data, with the exception of pseudonymized financial records retained per Polish tax law.

These terms are governed by Polish law. Any dispute arising from or related to the Service shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Poland. EU consumer-law rights granting consumers the right to bring proceedings in their country of residence remain unaffected.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
