Essential authentication cookies — set by Firebase Authentication when you sign in. Used to keep you logged in across page reloads and enforce account security. Cannot be disabled if you want to use the Service. Set as first-party cookies on the studiohair.app domain.

Bot-protection cookies — set by Firebase App Check (powered by reCAPTCHA Enterprise) to verify you are a legitimate user, not an automated script. Required to use any authenticated feature.

Theme preference — a single first-party cookie that remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. No personal data; you can clear it from your browser at any time without losing functionality.

• Firebase Auth session cookie — expires on sign-out or after 7 days of inactivity.
• Firebase App Check / reCAPTCHA Enterprise — session-scoped (typically 30 minutes); renewed on each authenticated action.
• Theme preference — persists in localStorage until you clear your browser data or change the theme.
